I’m a graphic designer who believes in using creativity to make a difference. Diagnosed with Myoclonus Epilepsy and Ataxia due to KCNC1 mutation (MEAK), a rare form of epilepsy caused by changes in the potassium channel in the brain, I learned early on the importance of resilience and finding strength through creative expression. Those experiences shaped the way I approach design — with empathy, intention, and a drive to inspire.
Alongside my design career, I founded the Lauren Arena Foundation for MEAK Research to connect families worldwide and support ongoing studies at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Through both my art and advocacy, I aim to create meaningful visual work that tells stories of hope and perseverance.
My motto, “Dream big, work hard, inspire others,” reflects not only how I live, but how I design — with purpose, positivity, and the belief that creativity can change lives.
